ATTENTION ALL KIDS!

Sunday Storytime blasts off with graphic novelists Raina Telgemeier and Dave Roman on Sunday, February 12th at 11:30 a.m. Raina will be talking about her book, Smile, and Dave will be discussing his book, The Astronaut Academy: Zero Gravity.

From the artist of BSC Graphix comes this humorous coming-of-age true
story about the dental drama that ensues after a trip-and-fall mishap.

Raina
just wants to be a normal sixth grader. But one night after Girl Scouts
she trips and falls, severely injuring her two front teeth. What
follows is a long and frustrating journey with on-again, off-again
braces, surgery, embarrassing headgear, and even a retainer with fake
teeth attached. And on top of all that, there's still more to deal with:
a major earthquake, boy confusion, and friends who turn out to be not
so friendly.

In Astronaut Academy Hakata Soy's past life as the leader of a futuristic super team won¹t stay in the past!

The
former space hero is doing his best to keep his head down at Astronaut
Academy
. Things aren¹t going so great, though. The most popular girl in
school has it in for him. His best friend won't return his calls. And
his new roommate is a complete jock who only cares about Fireball.

Hakata
just wants to make a fresh start. But how will he find time to study
Anti-Gravity Gymnastics and Tactical Randomness when he¹s got a robot
doppelganger on its way to kill him?
